The world has changed for most people in 2020, but for Val& Layla their world changed a few years prior. In 2016, just a few months after Layla was severely injured in a car accident; the family also suffered with the loss of Val’s husband and Layla’s father to cancer. In early 2019 Val had a stroke; she was in a coma like state for several weeks and in the hospital for several months.
While in the hospital there were daily visits from friends and family. With lots of prayers, she regained her awareness and appetite.
After being released from the hospital she stayed with her daughter Layla.
With time, and God’s good grace, Val had fully recovered.
